Hawaiian Supersweet Silver Corn
Zea Mays / Open Pollinated
Hawaiian Supersweet Silver was bred alongside the famous Hawaiian Supersweet #9 with golden kernels. Excellent resistance to the tropical mosaic virus, this variety is vigorous and productive! Ears have a tight tip that resists ear worm.
Corn is best planted in a block for good pollination. When growing tropical sweet corn it is wise to protect it from cross-pollinating with other corn varieties. You can do this by timing your plantings of different varieties two to three weeks apart and sharing seeds with your neighbors.
Successive plantings every two weeks results in optimal germination.
