Kimo is the last Open Pollinated tomato bred by Dr. Jim Gilbert at UH CTAHR. This variety was never released but was used to develop UH hybrids including N-101. Kimo has improved disease resistance over earlier UH varieties. Kimo is easy to manage with a determinate growth habit and medium large fruit in the 1/2 pound range. UH varieties are bred for taste and disease resistance and will thrive in Hawaii's challenging conditions.
