A longstanding heirloom saved for generations and valued for its delicious, citrusy flavor and heady fragrance. This heat loving basil is very aromatic and pest and disease resistant. Mrs. Burns’ Lemon Basil, a tetraploid, creates a robust plant with larger leaves than other lemon basil varieties and produces pink small flowers. Remove flowers to encourage bushy leafy growth that you can enjoy in so many recipes! 
 
Tolerates partial shade, but thrives in full sun. Pinch the central stem back early to encourage branching and side shoots that will result in a larger and more well shaped plant in your garden.
