'Mexican Sunflower' - Tithonia

Mexican sunflower is a great pollinator plant and one of the best plants for attracting butterflies, the monarchs love it for the abundant pollen. Brilliant red orange flower heads  3 1/2” across are abundant and grow on 4-5ʻ plants. Foliage has a gangly habit, so interplant with other flowers or in groups for a spectacular border of color.

Open Pollinated - 30 seeds/pkt.

Start in pots and transplant, as seedlings grow slowly and are easy to get lost in the garden.
Depth: 1/2"
Spacing: 24"
Full sun
Maturity: 80 days
